Does toothpaste really clean diamonds

Toothpastes with the finest diamond powder instead of conventional abrasives (ground silicates, calcium phosphates, precipitated silicic acids) with a low RDA result in better tooth cleaning that is gentle on tooth substance than conventional products established on the market.
Diamond is the hardest material we know. It is used in various industrial manufacturing processes (grinding, sawing, polishing, etc.) and is used, among other things. Application, depending on the grain size, for polishing jewelry, processing optical systems, electronic components, etc. Depending on the grain size, the abrasion is significantly reduced to zero. The abrasion on tooth enamel is measured in REA, that of dentin in RDA. In conventional toothpastes, the specified RDA value is between 30 and around 200, depending on the indication of the paste (whether to remove smokers' deposits or to remove plaque from sensitive tooth necks), which is much too aggressive for daily use.
The grain size of conventional abrasives is between 1 and 100 μm, sometimes even up to 150 μm, the abrasives are "softer" than tooth enamel, but "harder" than dentine. Therefore, conventional abrasives have a cleaning effect and hardly remove any material from enamel surfaces, but because of their coarse grain they are destructive to dentin and root cement. They are ultimately responsible for wedge-shaped defects in the area of the tooth necks, for sensitivity disorders and hypersensitivity. The concentrations of conventional abrasives are usually 10-30% by weight. Modern toothpastes with bio-inert diamond powder as abrasive can be set absolutely reliably in terms of both grain size and concentration. Diamond is harder than tooth enamel, but it cleans the tooth surface with micronized diamond powder with a grain size of z. B. 2–3 μm thoroughly, and without causing harmful "grooves" or "damage" to the enamel and dentine. The diamond content is very low compared to conventional abrasives. The abrasion of the new toothpastes on the tooth enamel is negligibly small and amounts to approx. 20 μm in 70 years. The abrasion on the dentine, on the other hand, is a remarkable 70–90% smaller than with conventional pastes, which can be over 700 μm in 70 years. The noticeable smoothness of the tooth surface lasts for a long time, symptoms of hypersensitivity are reduced and tooth neck defects, even when scrubbing, are a thing of the past. The resulting polish causes a significant reduction in plaque formation and significant teeth whitening. The hard diamond removes tartar as it is being formed. Diamond powder is bioinert, so it does not react with other paste components.
The university studies in the USA and Europe have been completed, and the new toothpaste has already been patented worldwide. In addition, the new generation of toothpaste with diamond powder as an abrasive is quite consumer-friendly due to the low concentration in the price comparison with conventional pastes.
