What is the Mormon glow

Do Mormons Celebrate Advent?

In many homes of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) you can find an advent wreath. The glow of the lights is reflected in the large children's eyes. The preparation for the feast of the birth of Jesus is accompanied by songs and various stories from the Holy Scriptures. In the church services, too, visitors get in the mood for this special time with Christmas music. When it's cold outside, it gets warm inside. This year the church leadership under President Thomas S. Monson placed the emphasis on charity during the Advent season under the hashtag #DerWeltEinLicht ":

From December 1st, 2016 you will find this on the Internet Church homepage to find suggestions every day on how we can make this light shine on that day. So we can not only open a door in the Advent calendar every day, but also work to ensure that by December 24th at the latest. the real joy of Christmas can find its way into our hearts.
