Dr. Niklas Schaffmeister is a recognized expert in brand management and strategic brand communication. Niklas Schaffmeister can look back on 15 years of industry expertise in the fields of chemistry, automotive, technology, retail, consumer electronics and financial services. He is the founder and managing partner of globeone, a management consultancy that focuses on brand management and has particular expertise in the world's major growth markets. From its offices in Germany, Switzerland, South America and China, globeone combines global strategy and local opportunities to support brands in the major emerging markets with a market-driven positioning. Before joining globeone, Niklas Schaffmeister was responsible for the Asian business of the management consultancy BBDO Consulting (now Batten & Company) in Shanghai as Vice President Asia-Pacific. Niklas Schaffmeister holds a Master of Business Administration from the Free University of Berlin, from which he also received his doctorate. During his master's and postgraduate studies, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the Chinese University in Hong Kong. During the six years that he lived in Shanghai, he taught as a visiting professor as part of the Global MBA program at Shanghai University and published numerous articles and studies such as the representative studies globeone BRIC Branding Survey® and Emerging Market Brands Survey®. Florian Haller is CEO of the Serviceplan Group. He studied economics at the University of St. Gallen before starting his first job as a client advisor at the Lintas advertising agency in New York. In 1992 he moved to Procter & Gamble, where he stayed for five years. His first position at Procter & Gamble was Category Manager Dishwashers at the European headquarters in Brussels, and later he became Brand Manager for the Household Products division in Geneva. In 1996 he joined the Serviceplan Group as managing director of the third unit advertising agency. In 2000 he moved to Serviceplan Holding as managing director. In July 2002 Florian Haller took over from his father, Dr. Peter Haller, who founded the agency, took on the position of CEO of the Serviceplan Group. In 2006 he was named "Agency Man of the Year" by the industry journal Horizont. W&V, the trade magazine with the highest circulation in the media and communication sectors, voted him “Media Personality of the Year” in 2010. In 2012 he was chosen from a list of 100 personalities by the same magazine as the “most creative and innovative manager in the communications industry”. Florian Haller gave the opening speech at the specialist conference Medientage in Munich and in the following round of heavyweights he represented the agency industry for the first time at the opening event of the conference. In 2013 he and his father, Dr. Peter Haller, inducted into the "Hall of Fame of German Advertising".
