Find your dream

That's when it all begins.

Before you can live your dream, you have to find this one dream first.

Since I cannot look into your head, I will logically not be able to tell you what your dream looks like.

But I can show you a way with which you will surely find your dream. Because that's how I found mine!

You should ask yourself this one question:

"What is my perfect day like?"

Just ignore your current situation: What would you most like to do today? What would your morning be like What would you do in the evening? Who would you spend time with?

What you imagine that day is your dream!

Many of us imagine a single event or thing under our dream. But this leads to the fact that so many people work towards the wrong dream and as soon as they reach it they are disappointed with it.

There's a reason so many millionaires ask themselves, “Is that really all? Is there nothing more in life than this? "

This is solely due to the fact that these people have been around for decades just the financial aspect of their life have focused. No wonder why they end up disappointed.

In fact there are whole 4 pillars, the A full life make up and money is just a sub-item of the 4th pillar.

In order to be really happy in life, you have to know and master all 4 pillars. Otherwise you end up like the unfortunate millionaire: rich but not fulfilled.

These pillars are:

  • health
  • luck
  • love
  • vocation

Your dream must target each of these 4 pillars!

You must by no means leave out one of these pillars, otherwise you will not find fulfillment sooner or later.

You may be thinking to yourself now: “But actually my dream was to be financially independent” or “I thought I would live my dream when I finally have a slim body”.

And although these individual dreams are more likely to target one of the 4 pillars, they still have an impact on all of the others.

For example, if your dream is to become financially independent, you will not only influence pillar 4, but also automatically pillar 1. You will not only improve the “work” and “finance” areas, but also your relationships as you will automatically have more time for your friends, family and your partner.

Plus, over time, you won't just stick to a dream. Once you have achieved your current dream, you will become addicted. Addicted to making more of your life than you could ever have imagined.

You will pursue one dream after the other and achieve them with the following tips!

But first you have to start with a dream that lays the foundation for your further life!

"Do not dream your life. Live your dream!"

I hope the first question about your perfect day made you aware of your first dream.

Here is another little guide that will help you cement your true dream:

Instead of making your dream dependent on something unique, ask yourself what would make you happy every day from now on.

In life it is not about short moments when you feel happy and alive, but about every single day that you live on this earth.

These days turn into weeks. These weeks become months and months become years. And at the end of your life you will look back on around 30,000 such days.

So, you can improve the quality of your life by improving the quality of your days.

And you can improve the quality of your days by asking yourself this elementary question:

"What is my perfect day like?"

Believe in your dream

Having a dream is one thing, putting it into practice is another.

I am very open to you: Working for your dream will not be easy. There will be highs but also lows and just then you must not give up, but have to keep going!

In order for you to develop the necessary stamina, you need a rock-solid belief in your dream and the best way to develop this is through a certain question: "Why?"

Find your "why?"

Why do you want to live your dream More precisely: Why do you want to specifically this Live dream?

This question may seem strange to you, but it's the most important question you can ask yourself.

Although many people have already managed to live their dream, there are still so many people who pursue a dream without even knowing why they want to live this dream.

The result is that once things get difficult, they are very likely to give up.

But when you have found your “why?”, You will be able to orient yourself to it even in the most difficult times and move on.

So ask yourself: why do you want to live this dream?

Be as specific as possible in your answer. For example, if your dream is to be financially independent, your answer could be something like this:

I want to live my dream to:

  • To have more freedom in life
  • Not to be dependent on anyone
  • To travel the world
  • Spending more time with my family
  • To escape the stress of work

Now write down your own reasons. The more the better. They will build belief in your dream and get you through tough times.

Visualize your dream

As a reminder, the only thing here is to prepare for it so that you can actually achieve your dream.

I will now introduce you to a concept that will make your dream a lot more achievable for you. This concept is called visualization.

To do this, imagine that you have achieved your dream. Put yourself fully into this situation. What do you see, what do you feel, what people are around you?

Live your dream as if it were right now!

What this visualization does is that it programs your subconscious to this dream. Once your subconscious has noticed what a wonderful life you will live with your dream, it will do everything it can to achieve it.

All of this is also known as the "Law of Attraction" and was made famous by Rhonda Byrne in her book "The Secret".

For example, famous actor Jim Carrey said that all of his success was based on this principle.

When he was homeless and had nothing, Carrey imagined being successful every day. He even wrote himself a check for $ 10 million and put the redemption date 3 years later.

In 1995 (less than 3 years after he wrote his check) he was given an acting role that earned him exactly $ 10 million.

Here is an excerpt from the 1997 Opera Show in which Jim Carrey details the process.

This is just one of many examples that show the power of visualization.

So in order to make your dream a reality, you should imagine that you are already living it.

This will align your subconscious and will automatically steer you in the right direction.

Of course, visualization alone is not enough. You have to work for your dream too. And that's what it's all about now!

Work for your dream

Now that you have clearly defined your dream, it is a matter of taking the necessary steps to actually achieve your dream.

So many of us think that it is so difficult to truly live your dream.

In doing so, these people consider all the work that lies ahead of them in the coming decades, which is why it seems impossible for them to make massive changes in their lives.

As already described above, it does not depend on decades in his life, but on every single day.

And therein lies the secret:

Instead of trying to improve your entire life, all you should do is try and make better today. This will be a lot easier for you than trying to take your entire life from 0 to 100.

But since your life consists of many “today” days, you will improve your entire life.

These small improvements every day will make all the difference in the long run and will ultimately make you live your dream.

It's similar to stocks: you don't have to have a lot to start with to get rich in the long run. Your stock just needs to improve a tiny bit every day and you will build a fortune.

For example, if you start with € 1 and you improve your share by a thousandth every day, your account balance will be € 5.7 million after 50 years.

This is called exponential growth and it can also be applied to your life:

No matter what point you are at. Even if you feel like you only have € 1 in your “life account”: If you set yourself the goal of improving yourself by even one thousandth every day, you will live a thousand times better life after a few years and after a few years a few decades even by a factor of millions.

But how exactly do I improve every day?

You don't need much to improve by a thousandth every day.

Depending on what you mean by “live your dream”, all you have to do is take small steps in the direction of your dream and you will eventually live it.

If your dream is to have a healthy body, 20 minutes of exercise every day is a thousandth of an improvement.

If your dream is to be financially free, an hour working on your own business is a thousandth of an improvement.

Of course, you can also go beyond this one-thousandth. Especially if you don't want to wait years for your dream, I would strongly advise you to do so too.

Regardless of what your dream is, a basic concept comes into play for this that will allow you to achieve any dream possible in a fairly short amount of time.

This concept is called: Time efficiency.

"I have no time"

Live your dream! The answer that most often follows this sentence is: "I don't have time!"

Usually the problem with most people isn't that they don't know how to live their dream. Your problem is that they are supposed to have too little time.

You want a perfect body, but “don't have time” to go to the gym.

You would like to have another job, but have "no time" to train yourself independently.

Having no time is not a reason, just an excuse.

Everyone has the same time on this earth.

  • About 80 years
  • 365 days a year
  • 24 hours a day
  • 60 minutes per hour
  • 60 seconds per minute

So how can it be that some people achieve so much in their 24 hours and others so little?

To give you two examples:

Elon Musk was the managing director of 3 billion dollar companies ... At the same time!

Arnold Schwarzenegger went to school like everyone else. Instead of lazing around in the afternoon, he went to the gym for 5 hours a day, worked on construction sites to finance his living and then took acting classes from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This should give you an idea of what is possible in 24 hours.

From now on, live your dream by appreciating your time!

Excuses like “I don't have time and therefore can't live my dream” don't count!

So you have to learn to use every single second of your day wisely.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't have any more free time. On the contrary: this method gives you even more free time.

Take advantage of every second

Unused time includes, for example:

  • Waiting for the train
  • Cook
  • drive
  • Sleep too long

Perhaps you are now thinking: “How can I use my time cooking or driving a car more effectively? I can hardly pursue my dream at the same time. "

Of course you can!

What's stopping you from listening to a podcast while cooking or in the car that gives you valuable tips for your dream?

What's stopping you from building your own business on your laptop while taking the train ride?

Who tells you that when the train is delayed, you can't read valuable blog posts on your cell phone that bring them closer to your dream?

For example, I'm writing this blog post while I'm waiting for a friend I'm about to train with. I could have just slept an hour longer. But then you wouldn't be reading these lines now.

So go through your daily routine in your mind. Where do you still have unused time that you could invest in your dream? From now on, don't leave a second unused and you will be able to live your dream sooner than you think you can.

Time wasters and what you can do against them

Unused time isn't the only thing holding you back from your dream.

In addition, there is the time that we deal with typical time wasters.

This includes Netflix, Instagram, Facebook ... Virtually anything where you stare at a screen while it doesn't get you any closer to your dream.

The worst thing about these time wasters is that they make us feel like we are doing something productive because they keep us busy all the time. But let's be honest: how does Netflix help you live your dream?

So try to avoid time wasters like social media and Netflix for a day. You will be surprised how much more time you will have for your dream.

In summary, if you want to live your dream, it depends on the small decisions you make about the day. Either you choose to use your time wisely, or you will wake up one day and find that you could have lived your dream, but now it is too late.

Live your dream!

As soon as you have achieved your dream, it is time to live it.

By that I mean to see this dream as a new part of your life and even more important: to find fulfillment in it.

There is a wonderful quote from Tony Robbins for this:

Once you have achieved your dream, you will have mastered "The Science of Achivement". In order to live your dream, you must now find The Art of Fulfillment.

Tony Robbins deliberately called it "art" because everyone finds fulfillment in different ways. There are step-by-step instructions for success. But you have to find fulfillment for yourself.

As a first step towards fulfillment, you should be proud of yourself. If you achieve your dream, you made it! You have certainly been through a lot and have grown enormously personally as a result. Depending on how big your dream is, you are probably a completely different person than you were before.

So look back proudly on your achievements day after day, find your fulfillment and who knows: Perhaps by then you will have already found your next dream!
